After reading shifting shadows, I suddenly think that there's a lot of similarities between lion king and bravelands.
First of all, in lion king, Simba's father, Mufasa died and in Bravelands, the same thing happened, and actually, they are both killed because their murderer wish to be the leader/king.
Next, both Fearless and Simba ran away (though because of different reasons) and lived with another type of animal until they grew up (though in Bravelands, Fearless is not completely grown)
Then, after they kind of grew up, they both returned to their pride to try challenge the murderer of their fathers, and even though Fearless didn't succeed, but in the end, they both got a pride (though Fearless' story continues)
Now thinking about it, I wonder wether the Erin Hunter team was thinking of Lion King when writing Bravelands, but still, the stories are different in many ways too.
