Typhoon is a the son of Sky Strider and the Late Rock Marcher. Following the death of his father, Typhoon left his natal herd to live with his uncles.[1]

During the Great Gathering, Typhoon is mentioned by his mother when Thorn asks Sky about her calves. There it's revealed that Typhoon left for the Bulls following the death of Rock.
