African Golden Wolves[]
The golden wolves are based on the African Golden Wolf(Canis Anthus) which lives in North-East Africa. Golden Wolves are smaller than common wolves, such as the Gray Wolf, but still stay in packs. In real life, the golden wolves tend to eat small creatures ranging from bugs and hares to young gazelles and warthogs.
Bravelands Golden Wolves[]
The Golden Wolves that are in Bravelands break the code by killing solely to eat an animal's heart. Doing so makes the animals spirit stay in Bravelands, so the spirit can't rise up to the stars. Presumably their titles reflect the amount of hearts the ingested. For example, Slash’s title was Slash, Eater of Eighteen Hearts. It is unknown if their titles actually reflect the number of hearts the wolves have eaten or is simply the name of the ranks itself.
