Crocodiles are a species of animals in Bravelands. Unlike most other animals, they mostly do not follow the Code, though with a few exceptions amongst their kind.

Nut, a baboon, throws rocks at them to prevent the other baboons from winning the Three Feats.Nut continues to provoke the reptiles by throwing even more rocks Mud eventually attempted to cross the river but failed as a Crocodile lunged at him biting him in the leg. Fearless charged into the river and saved Mud from the Crocodiles by dragging him up the shore from the Crocodiles
Code of Honor[]
A bloat of hippos assumes that the bask of crocodiles killed Great Mother.
The lead hippo fights the slow-moving female leader, killing her. The rest of the bask overlooks the dead crocodile in horror. Sky then tries to reason with the hippos, saying that they are breaking the Code, but fails. The bloat of hippos charge at the rest of the bask and the feud continues. The bask divides, with one group facing the hippos, while the rest of the crocodiles dive under the water to avoid the turmoil, and others hurry up the bank of the watering hole in order to flee. Their efforts are futile, as the hippos subdue many of them. Sky intervenes by declaring that this turmoil is not what Great Mother wanted and that they should help to uphold the Code. The hippos do not adhere to her plead and continue their combat with the crocodiles. The survivors of the bask scramble on to the land with the hippos in pursuit, and they continue to fight in the trees.

When Prance is traveling with Mistfriendherd, they arrive at a river. There, they find a croc acting strange.

Grandmother forces Gorge, to release her intended meal and summons her along with the rest her float to The Mountain.
