Bravelands Wiki

Baboons are one of the many species of animals living in Bravelands.

Official description[]

The baboon troops are organized into rigid hierarchies, but they are meritocratic—every baboon starts at the bottom and can work his or her way to the top. The structure of their societies is based on trees; they believe all creatures fell from the sky, so to be high in a tree is to be closer to the Great Spirit. They also look to the sky for guidance about the future. The Starleaf of each troop interprets clouds, bird flight, lightning, shooting stars, and other celestial phenomenon.

Society[]

Just like in real life, the baboons in the Bravelands universe live in troops.

Rankings[]

This rank was created when Berry was Crownleaf to protect her.

Stinger created this rank so that he could keep control of the animals of Bravelands' actions.

Trivia[]

  • In real life, baboon society isn't as meritocratic as it is in the Bravelands Universe.
  • Instead, baboon troops are mostly matriarchal and baboons are born into the rank their mother was in at the time of their birth. However the baboon can be promoted into a higher position based on their actions/behavior. Furthermore, female dominance is hereditary in olive baboon society.
